I was originally born in Dhaka, Bangladesh and moved from there with my parents to Sydney,Austrailia and then lived the rest of my life primarily in the US. I have lived all over the US including: Arizona, Colorado, Virginia, and Florida. I was going to school at UF and changed over to go to school in Tampa at USF. I started getting into modeling the summer of my freshman year. I started out being a spokesmodel/promotional model for the radio station 101.3 and Florida Stars Agency in Gainesville. I took off modeling for a year and concentrated on just school. After about a year I started doing Miss America Prelimary Pageants which included local pageants such as Miss USF (in which I placed third), Miss Mt. Dora and Miss Tampa Bay. I kept going to school and didn't really get into mainstream modeling untill around March of 2002.
