Her centerfold was photographed by Alexas Urba. Sharon was born in Norway, but when she was a year old her family moved to Wisconsin. For a brief time, Sharon worked as a receptionist for Pierre Salinger. She has also worked as a dog trainer (including a stint with Hugh Hefner's sheepdog, Dog) but aspired to be a model and actress. She posed nude for the December 1979 Playboy pictorial "Playmates Forever".
